EDS Group's cost effective EPS, is always an option we consider when evaluating the material selection of a cushion. On a cost by cubic inch basis or shock deflection cost per pound, we have found this molded material to offer economic advantages when compared to traditional foams. Clearly, second drop performance and other specific criteria need to be explored to assure this material meets all package design criteria.

We have generated comparisons in deflection and shock utilizing thermoformed olefenic plastics and pulp. Each material offers it's own unique advantages when being considered as the ultimate material of choice for your package program.
