Biomedical Packaging

EDS Group is strategically positioned to provide rapid prototype packaging for 1 to 50 lot, mid-range volume of 500 to 10,000 lots, and up to a million packages or more to satisfy the most demanding requirements. Our capabilities extend from CAD/CAM engineering and translate to either laser cutting, water jet cutting, or CNC machining of prototype molds to pull-formed plastic shapes. We produce packages meeting the most stringent quality standards including FDA-approved processes and materials.

Our molding process measurements have recorded the lowest bio-burden ratings that earn us the ability to ship directly into a clean room operation without pre-sterilization. Specialty packaging includes bottle kits, vial trays, syringe trays, and unit dose packaging, all inserted in chipboard boxes and fitted within thermally insulated or temperature controlled overnight shipping containers. Our skill sets in creative engineering have us named in the patent of the plastic incubator to grow human skin. This tissue product has been commercially available since 1995.
