Slush/Compression Pulp Molds

EDS-TOOLWORKS is committed to the advancement of simplifying the engineering and construction of pulp tooling. Our unique experience from the foam molding industry cross over and allow for efficient machining and venting of both male and female molding tools. Female molds can be built of individual "buckets" that are then assembled on master plates for multi-cavity production. These individual buckets lend themselves to efficient sidewall venting, thereby assuring uniform pulp part wall thicknesses.

Compression molds for the creation of cosmetically smooth surfaces on both the interior and exterior of a pulp part also strengthens the part. Our CNC capability and tooling prowess will generate male female mold tool paths with offsets engineered to allow for the finished pulp wall thickness with minimum specified radii in customer specified areas of the mold and the finished part.

Electronics packaging parts, food service trays, display components, and water soluble disposable shapes are but a few of the critical molds we have built for this globally promising industry.
