Single cut sheet formers, high speed inline with floating dies or matched metal trim dies, cut in place tooling packages are all available. Standardized or custom pressure boxes with quick disconnect for fast mold changes are but a few of our deliverables. Tools for blisters, trays, clamshells, tri-folds, quad folds, robotic assembly, auto feed trays serving electronics, medical device, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Preproduction tooling built in aluminum and expanded later can be engineered in the beginning to allow the former to expand volume as their clients volumes grow. Tools are engineered to support each material's unique shrink and process parameters from high shrink amorphous PE's CPET to minimal shrink styrenes. Large platen, solid mold, multi-cavity, syntactic plug assist tools and floating dies are a specialty of EDS-TOOLWORKS.
